Terms of Engagement

  1. The personal information collected on this form is for the use of course registration, course survey and feedback, and/or for application of course-related funding (only if applicable) to respective funding-related organisations. Information will also be further used for marketing purposes from TalentLink Pte. Ltd. (“TalentLink”), unless specified otherwise. Participants shall be bound by TalentLink Pte. Ltd. Privacy Policy, as listed at https://www.talentlink.org/terms-conditions/

 

  1. TalentLink is committed in safeguarding the confidentiality of the personal information and undertakes not to reveal participant’s information to any 3rd parties (other than regulating authorities, funding related agencies and / or authorised data intermediaries) and programme partners (including respective exam agencies of the programmes, if any) without prior consent of the participant.

 

  1. All registrations will be subject to the terms in the refund policy which will be reflected in the participant’s invoice. 

 

  1. The participant is to ensure that the correct and suitable language medium of the course (if any) is selected during registration, and that he/she has all the necessary equipment or resources as listed on the course details (such as a web camera on laptop / notebook / PC or the required software) before signing up for the course. TalentLink will not be liable for any failures due to incorrect language medium selected, or inability to attend the course due to the lack of necessary equipment or resources.

 

  1. The course schedule selected is subject to confirmation. TalentLink reserves the rights to withdraw or re-schedule the class without prior notice.

 

  1. Participant shall be bound by the Terms and Conditions of any applicable funding scheme as approved by TalentLink. For SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funded Courses, a participant may be permitted to pay only a portion of the course fee (less the potential amount) at the point of application. The participant is required to meet the requirements set under the funding scheme in order to be eligible for funding, as stated below or otherwise:

    1. The participant has to be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;

    2. The participant has to be aged 21 years and above*;

    3. The participant is attending a SSG-supported certifiable course on nett fee payment mode

    4. The participant has achieved at least 75% attendance; and

    5. The participant has sat for and passed the examinations/ assessments.

 

* 13 years old and above for persons with disabilities (PWDs) who qualify under the Workfare Training Support (WTS) Scheme.

 

  1. In the event that the participant fails to meet any of the requirements set under the funding scheme (as stated above), or has been granted funding for the same course before, or other valid reasons as stated by the funding agency, his / her application for funding claim may be rejected. As a result, the participant is liable to pay the balance of the course fee (i.e. the potential funding amount) to TalentLink or to the relevant funding agency.

 

  1. For deferment / transfer / withdrawal of courses, the participant shall provide notice to TalentLink as soon as permitted. Participant may provide evidence to support the decision for the course withdrawal. Participant can seek a refund on the fees paid for the course. If the following conditions are met, the participant will be considered as Withdrawal with Justification:

    1. TalentLink has changed the condition of the registered WSQ course, for any reason, and has given notice to the participant OR the participant has given notice of withdrawal from the registered course to TalentLink more than 14 working days prior to course commencement date, and given a reason for the change.

    2. Participant has given notice of withdrawal from the registered course to TalentLink less than 14 working days prior to course commencement date and given a reason for withdrawal deemed acceptable to TalentLink.

    3. Participant has not attended the course or the first day of the course.

    4. Participant has provided satisfactory reason with supporting evidence to TalentLink and TalentLink accepts the reason on compassionate grounds.

    5. TalentLink, on sole discretion, allows the Participant to withdraw from the WSQ Course.

 

  1. For replacement of courses, a written notice, together with the full particulars of the new participant, must be submitted and received by TalentLink 14 working days before the course commences.

 

  1. All deferment / transfer / withdrawal requests will be subject to approval. An administrative fee will be imposed for all approved requests based on a case by case basis.

 

  1. The Training Quality and Outcomes Measurement survey (TRAQOM) will be conducted for all SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funded courses so as to raise the quality of the training programmes conducted. The survey is conducted by SSG, and the data will be shared with TalentLink. Participants are required to provide their personal email address and phone number for SSG to conduct the surveys for all SSG funded courses. SSG will conduct the two post course evaluation surveys in the following manner:

    1. The Quality Survey will be administered on the last day of the course. Participants will receive an email invitation to access the electronic survey.

    2. The Outcomes Survey will be administered at least six (6) months after the course end date. Participants will receive an email invitation to access the electronic survey.

 

  1. The End-of-Course Survey will be conducted for all courses so as to gather feedback and raise the quality of the training programmes conducted. This survey will be conducted by TalentLink. TalentLink will conduct the surveys in the following manner:

    1. The first survey will be conducted immediately after course completion.

    2. The next survey will be conducted 6 months after course completion. Participants will receive an email invitation to access the electronic survey.

 

  1. Participants are advised to be punctual on the day of examination or assessment. Late comers may be barred from taking the examination or assessment. If participant is found cheating, he/she will be barred from the examination or assessment. TalentLink reserves the rights to take necessary actions. TalentLink will not be liable for any failures due to participants’ late coming or cheating.

 

  1. If participant fails the examination or assessment and wishes to appeal, the participant may submit the appeal form and make necessary payment before the submission deadline, that is 14 working days within the release of examination results.
